About
In an era of polarized narratives, my works offer ambiguity, a multiplicity of voices, and an unapologetic sensory experience that seeks to dismantle conventions and create a new language out of intuition and chaos.
The exhibition, curated by Shoshka Engelmayer – a subversive female persona created by artist Ze’ev Engelmayer – features works born from an intuitive drive, a free flow of images surfacing from the personal and collective subconscious.
The imagery in my work emerges through an intuitive process. I listens to fragments of conversations in cafés, absorbs influences from self-help videos, advertisements, news, and visual imagery from popular culture. This mix coalesces into a world saturated with multi-layered characters – monstrous, childlike, sexual, and humorous all at once – that simultaneously deconstruct and reconstruct it anew.
“For me, painting is not a closed act, but an ongoing process of listening – to the environment, to voices, and to the unconscious currents that resonate within it.
